ATI 5C Thermal Aerosol Generator

The 5C thermal generator is versatile, portable and ideal for certification applications where the required aersol volume or concentration may vary widely (e.g. large cleanroom plenums or where compressed air is not readily available). Used in conjunction with an aerosol photometer, the user can detect and measure leaks of high efficiency filtration systems. Introducing a more robust and durable case, hardware and heater block design, the product life expectancy and durability is greater than previous models. The utilization of fail-safe oil feed and thermal shut off features makes the 5C the safest thermal aerosol generator available today.  It provides a high capacity solution for a wide variety of demanding industries such as independant filter certifiers, military or commercial nuclear facilities, pharmaceutical manufacturers, medical facilities, and many more.

Applications

  • Independant Filter Certifiers
  • Military or Commercial Nuclear Facilities
  • Pharmaceutical Manufacturers
  • Medical Facilities
  • HEPA Filter Leak Testing
  • ...and many more!

Features & Benefits

  • The 5C can produce aerosol at concentrations ranging from 100 µg/l at airflows ranging from 6,500 to 65,000 cfmLED indicator
  • Fail-safe oil feed and thermal shut off features, auto-purging of the heater block, tipping cut out technology, and a liquid sight gauge are incorporated
  • Oil reagent drain port and heavy duty oil resistant power cord
  • All controls and displays are grouped on the front panel for easy operation away from the potentially hot aerosol generator output nozzle
  • High liquid capacity allows for up to four hours of operation without refilling
  • Digital temperature control with redundant feedback allows the operator to optimize the unit for the aerosol agent being used, and aerosol output can be adjusted to accommodate specific application requirements
  • A new output nozzle collar design guarantees adequate vapor quenching mitigating potentially improper operation
  • UL compliance*
  • CE compliance**
* Only 220V option compliant to 1997 EMI/EMC standards
** Entire 5C product line CE compliant to all current standards
