Sterile applications demand an absolute commitment to the control of hygiene and cleanliness. The consequences of failing to meet the required standards can be serious in pharmaceutical production, food preparation and in public healthcare.
Seating should highlight contamination, be easily cleanable and restrict particle emissions. This sterile seating incorporates robust and cleanable vinyl covering on both surfaces of the back and seat pads, polished aluminium base, chrome gaslift and footring with an enclosed 'box' style mechanism.
The sealed seat is fitted with a HEPA filter to prevent migration of particles. The vinyl used is a medical grade which is water- and air-impermeable.
These chairs are suitable for all grades of clean rooms. Where electrostatic phenomena are likely to be of concern, such as in a semiconductor manufacture / handling area, the ESD versions are highly recommended.
